There seems to be no reprieve in sight for residents of Borno state from the constant killings by the outlawed Boko Haram sect as another village was invaded on Saturday evening and 40 persons were killed and several others injured.
It was gathered from close security sources that Dalwa-Masuba village in Damboa local government area of troubled Borno state was attacked by insurgents.
The gunmen, suspected to be members of the inglorious sect were reported to have attacked the villages in their large numbers and burnt down the entire village.
