Another military helicopter supposed to belong to the Nigerian Air Force has gone down near Yola in Adamawa state less than three days after the crash of a chopper on observation mission in Damare, a suburb of Girei Local Government Area.
The sources told the Premium Times that helicopter stalled in the sky before crashing to the ground in a ball of fire around 9 p.m Thursday around the surroundings of the Modibbo Adama University of Technology (MAUTECH).
A Yola resident, who named himself Dan Asabe said, “It is true a helicopter just crashed near MAUTECH at around 9:30 pm. There were actually two of them flying beside each other and when one crashed, the other one turned back.”
